Protect your Bevinzey account with these security best practices.

    Password Security

    Strong Password Guidelines

    Create passwords that are:

    • At least 12 characters long
    • Mix of upper and lowercase
    • Include numbers and symbols
    • Not used elsewhere

    Password Manager

We recommend using a password manager:

    • Generates strong passwords
    • Stores securely
    • Auto-fills login forms
    • Syncs across devices

    Password Changes

    Change your password:

    • Go to Settings > Security
    • Enter current password
    • Enter new password
    • Confirm and save

    Two-Factor Authentication (2FA)

    Why Enable 2FA

    Adds extra security layer:

    • Protects if password compromised
    • Blocks unauthorized access
    • Industry best practice

    Setting Up 2FA

    • Go to Settings > Security
    • Click "Enable 2FA"
    • Scan QR with authenticator app
    • Enter verification code
    • Save backup codes

    Backup Codes

    • Store securely offline
    • Each code works once
    • Use if phone unavailable
    • Request new codes if needed

    Session Management

    Active Sessions

    View all logged-in devices:

    • Device type
    • Location (approximate)
    • Last activity
    • Session age

    End Sessions

    • Log out of specific devices
    • "Log out everywhere" option
    • Forces re-authentication

    Security Alerts

    Email Notifications

    Receive alerts for:

    • New device login
    • Password changes
    • 2FA changes
    • Suspicious activity

    Customize Alerts

    Choose notification preferences in Settings.

    If Account Compromised

    Recovery

    • Use "Forgot Password" if locked out

    Institutional SSO

    SSO Security

    For SSO users:
