    Bevinzey isn't a chatbot wrapper. Every module (flashcards, exams, MasterPlan, Calibration) is built on four learning techniques that cognitive scientists rank highest for long-term retention.

    Why most studying fails

    In Dunlosky's landmark 2013 review of ten common study techniques, the two most popular methods (highlighting and rereading) were rated low utility. Yet they're still what most students reach for the night before a test.

    The techniques that actually work (practice testing and distributed practice) were rated high utility for almost every learner, subject, and age group. Bevinzey is built around those two, plus interleaving and metacognitive calibration, the next two most evidence-backed techniques.

    Review material at expanding intervals so each item is recalled just as you're about to forget it. The result is durable long-term memory at a fraction of the time cost of cramming.
