How to Upload Files

Uploading files to Bevinzey is simple and flexible. Here's everything you need to know.

Upload Methods

Drag and Drop

• Open any tool (Summarize, Questions, etc.)
• Drag files from your computer
• Drop onto the upload zone
• Files begin processing automatically

Click to Browse

• Click the upload area or "Choose File" button
• Navigate to your file
• Select and click "Open"
• Processing begins

Multiple Files

• Drag multiple files at once
• Each file is processed independently
• Content is combined with clear separators

Upload Progress

Progress Indicator

• Visual progress bar
• Percentage complete
• Estimated time remaining

Processing Stages

• Uploading: File transfer
• Parsing: Text extraction
• Ready: Available for use

Managing Uploads

Remove Files

Before processing, click the "X" on any file to remove it.

Clear All

Remove all pending uploads with one click.

View File List

See all uploaded files with:

• File name
• File size
• Status indicator

Troubleshooting

Upload Failed

Possible causes:

• File too large
• Unsupported format
• Connection interrupted

Solutions:

• Check file size limits
• Convert to supported format
• Check internet connection

Slow Processing

Large files take longer. Files over 24MB (audio/video) are compressed automatically.

Text Not Extracted

For PDFs:

• Ensure text is selectable
• Scanned documents may need OCR
• Try converting to DOCX first

Optimize Before Upload

• Remove unnecessary pages
• Crop to relevant sections
• Compress very large files

Naming Files

• Use descriptive names
• Include subject/topic
