Using the Gradebook
The gradebook provides comprehensive grade management with weighted categories and automatic calculations.
Gradebook Setup
Access Gradebook
- Go to Educator Dashboard
- Select your course
- Click "Gradebook" tab
Grade Categories
Create categories like:
- Homework (20%)
- Quizzes (30%)
- Exams (40%)
- Participation (10%)
Category Settings
For each category:
- Weight percentage
- Drop lowest scores
- Late penalty rules
- Category color
Managing Grades
Automatic Entry
Grades from Bevinzey assignments are entered automatically:
- Question sets
- Practice sessions
- Assigned work
Manual Entry
Add grades for:
- External assignments
- Participation
- Extra credit
- Adjustments
Grade Override
Override automatic grades with:
- New score
- Reason for change
- Date of override
Viewing Grades
Student View
See all students with:
- Category scores
- Weighted average
- Letter grade
- Trend indicator
Assignment View
See all assignments with:
- Class average
- High/low scores
- Submission count
- Late submissions
Individual Student
Detailed view showing:
- All grades
- Weight calculations
- Missing work
- Final grade projection

Weighted Average
Automatic calculation based on:
- Category weights
- Individual scores
- Dropped lowest (if configured)
Grade Scale
Customize letter grade cutoffs:
- A: 90-100%
- B: 80-89%
- C: 70-79%
- D: 60-69%
- F: Below 60%
Final Grade
End-of-course grade calculation:
- All categories included
- Curve option available
- Manual adjustment possible
Export & Reporting
Export Options
- CSV format

If LMS integrated:
